We here at Pseudonym Studio are firm believers in the power of making something with your hands. Whether it’s baking a loaf of bread or knitting a sweater, there is an irreplaceable sense of pride and connection to that object gained through the process of constructing. One of our goals is to actively bring you into our family by asking you to play a role in our process of making. How do we plan to do that?

1) Read our blog

Every month we will be giving you a look inside at the development of the objects on we are currently working. Miss a post? Don’t worry, we’ll also be sending a newsletter each month recapping some inside looks and providing some insight which we hope will be educational.

2) Buy a build-at-home guide

We will be releasing instructional pdfs for the at-home fabrication of various Pseudonym designed furniture pieces. These instructions will include cut lists with dimensioned parts and pieces, as well as detailed methods of assembly. We will have some of our existing designs available, but given the collaborative spirit which we were founded on, we encourage input and feedback about what you may be interested in building. We also understand people’s access to tools may vary, so understanding those limitations off the bat would be helpful.

Take a look at some images, sketches and drawings of some of the objects we’ve designed. Intrigued, but don’t see anything for you? We also welcome requests.

3) Buy an object

If you don’t want to get your hands dirty or don’t have the time, we will also be selling some of our fully built designs. Our first foray into releasing an object both for sale and a build-at-home pdf will be the recently designed Harburo coffee table. Lookout in the near future for the release of these pdfs.

At Pseudonym Studio we pride ourselves with our work and want to involve you in any capacity in which you are comfortable. So read along, follow our progress and share with us. We look forward to hearing your ideas. Talk to you soon!
