In our minds, the design of furniture and objects for living exists in a very similar space to architectural design. If Architecture’s main objective is to create an environment to be experienced on a human scale, then all its components, both the built envelope and fixed and loose objects within the space play a vital role.
As interdisciplinary designers, we create objects for living that are largely influenced by the built environment that we inhabit. For that reason, you will notice a distinct structural quality to our pieces that lends itself to a sturdy, lasting design aesthetic with clean and decisive lines. While working closely with the makers who bring them to life, our pieces aim to utilize natural material selections, creating warmth to contrast the modernity of shape.
Our practice in object design has largely existed in a one-off, custom-built fashion…. until now! This spring, we will be embarking on a production run, making several of our designs available through a separate retail website. We have partnered with a fabrication shop to bring to life high-quality pieces built to enrich spaces and be enjoyed for years to come.
