Located on a quiet street in the Prospect Lefferts neighborhood of Brooklyn, this project involved the complete gut interior renovation of a townhouse originally constructed in 1910. Due to the home’s historic nature, a major design goal was to marry some modern flourishes by way of material and fixture selection with the refurbished, century-old features that endeared the owner to this unique home. Warm tones and natural materials were used to play off the woodwork, to create a playfully rich interior environment that mimics the owner’s own artistic personalities.
